General Questions
How does Window Fleur work?
Just sign up and we’ll deliver your ready-planted window box or Bloom Bag straight to your door. Watch your mini-garden grow, all season long. Each season, we’ll deliver a ready-planted refill straight to your door. You can cancel whenever you like.
If I order now, when will I receive my order?
We aim to deliver within 7 days of your order. We're currently experiencing periodic delays due to Covid and Brexit (double whammy!), but we'll give you the heads up if this is the case for your order.
Will I be able to see what plant choice is coming up?
You will be able to see which refills you have ordered on your account page. Our homepage features a preview of the boxes available for the current season.
Will I be able to skip deliveries?

What should I do with my used Bloom Bag?
Our Bloom Bags are fully biodegradable. They’re made from a special sustainable fabric. This means it can be easily disposed of with food waste, garden compost or in green council recycling bins.
What are your seasons?
We define seasons as:
Winter - 1st December to last day of February
Spring - 1st March to last day of May
Summer - 1st June to last day of August
Autumn - 1st September to last day of November
What if I order near the end of a season?
For first time orderers, to ensure you get the most from your plants we switch between seasons 2 weeks before the end of each seasonal window. This is so you don't receive your next season's refills too close to your first delivery. This means if you order right at the end of a season, you might have a slight wait before your delivery, but we'll email you to give you the heads up if this is the case.

Subscription Questions
Can I pause my subscription at any time?
You can skip future deliveries by emailing us - hi@windowfleur.com
How can I reactivate my subscription?
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to reactivate your account, please log in to your account page and select the reactivate option. You’ll then be able to select the plants for your existing window box.
Can I change my refill plant choice?
If you would like to change your refill choice please email us at hi@windowfleur.com and we’ll do our best to change it for you.
What if I don’t update you on future choices?
If you fail to get in touch with us to select which refill you’d like for each season, we’ll send you one we think you’ll love.
When will I be charged?
You will be charged at the point of purchase for your Window Fleur box and current season plants. You will then be charged on the 1st month of every season for your refill.
What is the latest I can change/cancel my order?
You will be charged on the 1st of the first month of every season. You must cancel 15 days before the end of the season.
Can I subscribe to a selection of different boxes?
You can choose as many boxes as you’d like in your subscription. You have to have the same plants selection in each of your boxes. Should you want different refills in all of your boxes then please do get in touch at: hi@windowfleur.com and we’ll do our best to help you.

Bloom Bag Questions
Can I order Bloom Bags without your window boxes?
Absolutely. Our Bloom Bags are designed to easily drop into most window boxes. We recommend that you check your own window box sizes along with the dimensions of our bloom bags.
What sizes do your Bloom Bags come in?
They come in 3 sizes, which should fit most window boxes.

Small - 35cm length - 3 plants - Perfect for window boxes 25-45cm long

Medium - 60cm length - 5 plants - Perfect for window boxes 45-70cm long

Large - 80cm length (2x 40cm Bloom Bags) - 8 plants - Perfect for window boxes 70-90cm long
How do I know the Bloom Bag will fit my window box?
Firstly you should start by measuring the width, depth and height of your window box. As we have a few sizes of bloom bags which you can see below with their dimensions, choosing the size that fits best with your window box dimensions. Please bear in mind you may need two bloom bags per window box depending on size.
What are the dimensions of you Bloom Bags?
As they're so malleable, our Bloom Bags can fit into most window box sizes. As standard they're about 20cm in height and 18cm in width.
Can I squeeze my Bloom Bags into my box?
Within reason yes. The roots of the plants are 10-12cm in diameter, and squeezing these too much will push the plants up out of their Bloom Bag or damage the roots.
I need to boost the height of my Bloom Bag, what can I do?
If the Bloom Bag needs to sit higher in your window box, you can use anything water resistant (a few suggestions are gardening gravel, wooden blocks, a brick...).
How do I remove my Bloom Bag from my window box?
Depending on the size and style of your window box we suggest you don your best gardening gloves and whilst doing so, lift either end of the bloom bags. Lightly lifting the bag, they may need a little squeeze either side and a little jiggle, with that little dance the bags should lift straight out.
Can I order more than one size of Bloom Bag?
Sure. You can choose varying Bloom Bag sizes as part of your subscription.
How long will my Bloom Bags last?
With the right care and watering your plant should last 3 months. Given the right care and watering your plants will last for 3 months. Window Box Questions
Do you offer different box sizes?
Yes we have a wide range of window box sizes to fit pretty much any window sill.
Can you install for me?
The installation process is pretty easy, so we leave that down to you. Make sure that your box is safe and secure on your sill, and check regularly. If you order over 6 boxes, then we can offer an installation service for you.
Plant Questions
How long will the plants last?

What should I do if one of my plants has died?
We’re sorry to hear your plant has died, this could be down to a variety of factors. Please do get in touch with us at hi@windowfleur.com and we’ll be happy to talk you through our solutions.
Why has my refill gone all mushy?
Your refill is made from cardboard and is fully biodegradable. It sounds like your refill has started to decompose. This could be due to abnormal rainfall for the season, or that its natural lifespan has come to an end. Just scoop it out and place in your food waste bin, garden compost, or in green council recycling bins. And get excited for your new plant refill to arrive.
Delivery Questions
How will my boxes be delivered?
Your box or boxes will be delivered by our very own Window Fleur driver, who will take special care of them to ensure they arrive to you in tip top condition. If you are unhappy with the way in which your box arrives please do get in touch, your problems are our problems: hi@windowfleur.com.
Do I have to be in when you deliver?
Ideally we’d love for you to be home when we deliver your box, so we can make sure it’s in the right hands. Should you want your box left in a ‘safe place’ we can do so at the owner's own risk.
When does Window Fleur deliver?
We deliver Monday-Friday and will email you before your delivery to confirm your delivery date and time-slot.
How long until I get my box?
We aim to deliver within 7 days of your order. We're currently experiencing periodic delays due to Covid and Brexit (double whammy!), but we'll give you the heads up if this is the case for your order.
Is there a way to choose a time slot for my delivery?
You will be allocated a delivery day and time slot, should this not work for you please get in touch with us and we’ll do our best to change it.
Is there a delivery charge?
Yes, we charge £5.50 per unit with a maximum delivery cost of £11. This might be a little steep, but we don't make any profit on this; good couriers that take care of your plants are expensive!
Do you deliver to my area?
We currently deliver anywhere within the M25. If that's not you, please sign up to the mailing list to find out when we’ll deliver to your area.
Why don’t you deliver to my area?
Window Fleur is a new start up and we want to make sure we can walk before we run. Delivering to a small catchment area allows us to provide the best possible service. Please sign up to our mailing list, we’re expanding very soon.
What happens if I miss my delivery?
We'll be in touch via email to reschedule your delivery on the next available delivery date
